Serving with SIM Southern Africa
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38
In September of 1987 I was given an opportunity to preach a sermon at a “cottage” meeting, by the light of paraffin lamps. 32 years have passed since then and 23 of those years, I have served as a Pastor with the Evangelical Church in South Africa. I am deeply encouraged to now be sent as a missionary of the ECSA.
It has always been my desire to serve on the front lines, pursuing those living and dying without Jesus and enabling believers to do the same while “doing life.”
As of April 2021, I had the opportunity of becoming part of SIM South Africa, serving as its Director from July 2021.
I have one desire, to see men and woman, boys and girls from all over the world and in “our beloved country” know who Jesus Christ is personally.
In the words of Steven Curtis Chapman, “saddle up your horses, we’ve got a trail to blaze. Through the wild blue yonder of God’s amazing grace.”
For Christ alone,
